In February 2015, the Agency of Agriculture Projects, with the funding of state budget started implementing the state program “Seed for Future” initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The goal of the program is to achieve effective use of agricultural lands and planting orchards with the strategic aim to replace imported production and increase export potential in the future. It will also provide processing factories with the raw products. Generally all these will improve social-economic situation in villages.
Program promotes the production of local high quality seedlings, that will enable the country to offer them to the interested parties in much cheaper price. It will on the other hand improve the conditions for the development of seed economy.
