According to the company’s top manager, speaking in an interview with Business Georgia, the secret behind their long-term success is simple: uncompromising quality. “We always use fresh ingredients and consistently aim to meet the highest standards in our field,” he explained. This commitment to quality, maintained year after year, has earned Food Management Group the trust of some of Georgia’s most prominent companies.


The Story Behind the Business: From a Crisis Lunch to a Leading Company

The origin of Food Management Group is both personal and inspiring. Around ten years before establishing the company, the founder’s wife worked at a company that was abruptly abandoned by its catering provider at the last minute. Left without options and under significant pressure, she found herself in a difficult situation with no immediate solution.

Her husband stepped in. He personally arranged lunch for the employees of one of Georgia’s leading insurance companies โ€” without charging a single lari. That moment, however, planted a seed. He saw a real and unmet need in the market, and consequently decided to build a business around it.

“I started making food at home and offering it to small companies,” he recalled. “But over time, demand kept growing. I then began approaching larger companies, and by 2012 I had formally established the enterprise.” Today, that same enterprise serves some of Georgia’s biggest businesses and continues to grow.

For the founder, the motivation behind Food Management Group goes beyond business success. The company’s deeper mission is to give Georgian employees access to healthy, balanced meals during their working day โ€” something that, for many people, is currently out of reach.
