Seedstars Tbilisi 2018: Georgian Startup STYX Wins Logistics Tech Competition
Seedstars Tbilisi 2018 has found its winner. On May 29, Georgian tech company STYX took first place at the Seedstars startup competition, held at Tech Park Tbilisi. Ten of the city’s most promising seed-stage startups were invited to pitch in front of an investment panel, competing for the title of the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Tbilisi 2018.
What Is STYX?
STYX is a tech-enabled logistics company that instantly connects shippers with carriers through a mobile app and SaaS platform. According to the company, shippers do not receive inflated prices and can track their freight 24/7. Using the STYX website and app is free for everyone — the company only charges carriers when they earn money.
Additionally, STYX does not participate in pricing, keeping the platform neutral and transparent for all parties involved. As the company stated: “We found the way that helps carriers grow their businesses on their own terms.”
