The Georgian Railways state company says, that new double-decker trains equipped according to European standards will be available for the passengers in Georgia from July.
“Four new trains are equipped with all the modern treats and security systems that go in line with European standards. Besides, these will be the first trains in Georgian reality which are fully customized for persons with disabilities,” the statement from Georgian Railways reads.

and will only stop in coastal resorts of Batumi, Kobuleti and Ureki. It should also be noted that, after Tbilisi-Makhinjauri railway track is modernized, the full travel time will reduce by 1 hour.
Georgian Railway says this will not affect the price of the tickets.
Georgian and Swiss sides are working together on the design of the trains and they promise interesting results.
